Gas Station and Convenience Store with a Drive Thru in Norwalk and Milan Ohio.

Dave's Food Mart started in Norwalk by Dave Fisher. Dave took over a Fast Foods C-store located at 118 Benedict Ave in 1973. 20 years later with the help of Bill Beck and Beck Suppliers he moved a block up the street to 84 Benedict. With the new location he, with the help of his son Joe, was able to grow the business to new heights. The new location offered Sunoco^® fuel, a drive-thru, and a bigger kitchen for him to make everything in the deli. A few years later after that in 2001 Dave and Joe were presented an opportunity to lease a second location in Avery, Milan Township.

The Avery location featured Marathon fuel and a great location on Rt 250. The Fisher's kept the existing staff, including previous owner Norma Minor who made the food for the Avery location. When Norma retired a few years after that, Dave's daughter Julie moved back to Norwalk from the Cleveland area to help run the store. After Joe's son, Jack graduated with plans to join the family business we decided it was time to expand the business. It was the same time Julie had increased the lunch business at the store so much we felt the only move was to build a new building designed to accommodate the food service that was so important to our roots and success. Joe's daughter Makanna has also joined the family business at the perfect time to help when the new building was going up and everyone was busy planning for what was to come.
